Helping you make easy and better choices towards a healthier life.

In 2013 I made a decision to commit to better lifestyle choices. As a former collegiate athlete (Lacrosse player at Johns Hopkins), I barely resembled the body I built 20 years ago. With the birth of our first child nearing I decided it was time to become a better business owner, husband and father and that it would happen by taking care of my health first. I rekindled a love for cycling and have since enjoyed an amazing mental and physical transformation including losing over 70 lbs and racing Cyclocross at the highest amateur levels across the country.

My journey has had a lot of trial and error, many hours spent researching and reading information, trying new gear and tecniques that didn't end up being the best choices, and eventually finding what works best. I want to help others make the same transition to better mental and physical health with a lot less effort seeking out helpful information. The internet is full of resources on endurance sports, health, nutrition, technique and life-hack ideas. Posts on this site take from the best of those, are short, direct, often bullet pointed and referenced by a simple hyperlink if you'd like to explore further. Subject matter is easy to search and sort by category and include "Pat's Note" at the bottom revealing why and how this information was useful in my life. Information ranges from simple tips to help begin your transformation, to the nuances of particular nutrition choices. Beyond providing information, the site will connect readers with life-changing travel experiences, coaches, events, and health-minded products that I use on a daily basis.

The Fast Forward team has open enrollment and is a collection of cyclists, runners and triathletes at all competitive levels who share similar values and goals towards a better health and fitness.

Cheers to a healthier you and enjoying the journey,

Pat Miller
